By extension, this is good news for two of us (Arb and me); that's a very popular show in part because it was (re)broadcast in the mid-70s, on an FM radio show on the DEAD and the SF music scene. The start of it was on all the tapes circulating, in which the jockey said "...hello San Francisco" and DS starts in...folks often thought it was from the original show, rather than the broadcast in the 70s.

My point is that back then, 40 yrs ago, we didn't have all the early era shows, and this tape was widely circulated from that radio show as "unique"...we had no idea that Pig was missing (though could have, I suppose) because it was so rare to meet anyone that had been a head from the beginning (back to my rant hereabouts that heads in the Bay Area were much bigger in the 70s that the 60s...).
